Forced Degradation Study for Simultaneous Quantification of Aspirin and Omeprazole in Pharmaceutical Dosage form by RP-HPLC

Aims: To study force degradation of aspirin and omeprazole simultaneously by RP-HPLC method
 Study design: method was used to measure % degradation.
 Place Duration Study: carried out at center excellence, G.I.D.C., vapi-396195, Gujarat, India between June 2019 march 2020.
 Methodology: A simultaneously. The drugs were subjected various conditions like hydrolysis acid base, Oxidative degradation, thermal study.
 Results: For acidic condition, the found be 32.63 for 61.64 omeprazole. basic 10.17 4.29 By oxidative hydrolysis, degraded 15.48 26.38 %. 0.37 observed 4.32 omeprazole.
 Conclusion: In this proposed retention time drug is less than 8 min, which then available method. omeprazole, strong in mild conditions. aspirin, more hydrolysis. Both using 3% H2O2. Omeprazole dry heat degradation. successfully applied quantitative determination both Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients.
